Grimmly Glass, Broken Head, and Salamanders.

Good day my fellow readers!
I recently came back from Marsh-en? Something.... A kingdom with a German name meaning fairy tale...
Yes, I really mean that I read a good book...

I remember that it was about a year ago when I discovered that Adam Gidwitz wrote a companion to his first book, A Tale Dark And Grimm. I finally read it, no thanks to the library. In A Glass Grimmly is the book I am talking about, and it's about Jack and Jill. They go up a hill. After a great fall, jack cracks his head wide open!

What kind of books do you read?

Well, I'm not sure if his head broke quite that much, but he did break his head. Of course, that was after Jill saved their asses from giants in the sky.

Don't you love a gruesome retelling of Mother Goose and Brother's Grimm tales? (Grimm's were always gruesome, but...)

Jack and Jill have a three legged, talking frog companion named Frog.
He lives with salamanders, which are known for their cute, happy faces. What you don't know is that they are always asking questions. While I read the book, I realized that I wanted to be a salamander, just so I could ask questions and not give a shit if I am annoying people.

I'm Totless, right?
Am I smelly?
Who's smellier, me or Bob?
Why is taco?
Can I have some ice cream?

You know, silly questions like that. Anyway, I thought it was a really good book, and thought I would write a pointless blog to tell you all that you are missing out.
This is no time to be con-fused! It is time to under-stand!
You would understand that last thing for real if you read the books...
Now I can't wait to read the third one!

Okay, that was all I had to say. I hope your day continues to be good!
