Hello readers! I have been slacking with my blog, but I have also been busy with other things, just like you all. After all, I've been trying to get my first novel prepared for human eyes... And any paranormal beings as well. The more readers, the better! HA HA ha...
Honestly, where would I be without my family? You guys helped me out SOOOOO much! Thank you!!!
So I finished writing my first book, and now I am looking for agents. Keep you fingers crossed for me! It could take up to 12 weeks to hear back from any of them, but hopefully they will love my query, LOVE my manuscript, and will want to represent me. No stress there!
I have started writing a sequel to my novel, and I am working on another book on top of that. I am very excited!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!
Last week was a very emotional week for us. Grab your tissues!
Tuesday, we had to put down our cat Buster. :( We were devastated when we realized that his kidneys failed. The same thing happened to our last cat, Ms. Kitty. I went with my dad to the vet, because I wanted to be with Buster and to let him know that we were there for him. It's always hard to put down a beloved pet, but it is the right thing to do when you know they are suffering. I feel good knowing that he is not in pain any more, and is waiting for us in a better place.
Right now, I think mom and I are paranoid about our cat Ellie, because she has been drinking a lot lately. A LOT!!! It's a possible sign of kidney failure...
Then on Saturday, we went to a wedding. See what I mean by an emotional week? We've covered the whole list of emotions. Anyway, it was a beautiful wedding, the bride was beautiful, and with her groom they look like a great match for each other.
I may be insane, but weddings make me sad. Lets leave it at that. Anyhoo, it got me thinking of my future wedding. (You're all invited. Mark your 2083 calenders' for the Totless wedding.) Ha ha. (Sorry mom! I know you must be tired of hearing that!) The white dress, big beautiful cake, wedding music, is very beautiful and traditional. It's perfect for a lot of people, and I understand it is the image of many women's dream wedding. Buts it's never been mine. In fact, I never really thought of it until a few years ago.
I want to be completely different! I want something more Gothic! (Surprise, surprise! I see all of you rolling your eyes!) It's a good thing I have all the time in the world to figure this out! Mwah ha ha!
Lets make it a Halloween wedding. Then everyone can dress up in something fun! (No, I'm not talking to an imaginary boyfriend. You all must think I'm crazy. lmao. The truth is that I just really like to throw you all for a loop.) It'll be a wedding for cabbages and kings!
I KNOW! IT SHOULD BE CORPSE BRIDE THEMED! Burtonesque!
Thanks for reading! If I haven't scared you off, please check back for future entries! :D
